If you are consulting for a direct sales organization that provides a commission, it should be entered to provide a total picture of your business’ financial health. To enter the commission into Its A Party:
- Select “Activity Journal” from the application function menu.
- Enter the closing date of the period.
- Enter a Description that contains words to make it easy to search .
- Select “Commission/Bonus” journal type. This will open other fields.
- Enter the full amount in the Amount field.
- If your customers can purchase products from your business’ website, enter the profit from those sales in the Profit From Online Sales field.
- Make any desired comments.
- Click Submit.
